Preparation is the Key
- We can offer a full preparation testing on your car, but somethings you can do yourself - Here are some tips to prepare your car before the test day.
- 1 - Check your washer fluid and wipers are working.
- 2 - Check your windscreen for damage.
- 3 - Check the horn is working.
- 4 - Check all lights.
- 5 - Check your tyre pressure and condition of each tyre for damage and tread (the legal minimum tread is 1.6mm)
- 6 - Condition of all seat belts (and NOT just the drivers) and ensure they are all working properly
MOT Testing
Ashton Autos are ideal people to take care of the test Once your vehicle has been tested you will receive the official VT20 certificate which is your receipt for the MOT test and shows the information that will be held on the national MOT database.
